Sweet and Savory Oven Fried Chicken




This recipe isn't "Healthy" per say.... But! Baked chicken IS healthier than fried! That, we know for sure. The chicken is only 4 ingredients, throw a simple starch and veg with it, and call it a night! Also, this recipe bakes pretty fast! After being in the oven for just 20 minutes, it was past the temperature chicken needs to be to be done (165) For that reason, I don't usually give exact times for my recipes when it comes to meat. Everyone's oven and stove are SO different! The only way to tell if your protein is REALLY done, if if you use a thermometer.

1) You can use ANY dip or creamy dressing for this recipe!


2) My other favorite cereals to use with this recipe include: Bran Flakes, and Captain Crunch.


3) I used one large chicken breast to feed my family of 2.5.

Sam's Club chicken breasts are huge and one can easily feed two adults, and a toddler. Cutting the breast in half also cuts down on the cooking time. You COULD skip this step, but your cooking time will vary, of course.
